We’re thrilled to announce that Sonny has been officially promoted to purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Instructor Matt Braybrook here at Freestyle Combat Academy!

This is no small achievement. The purple belt represents years of dedication, resilience, and technical development on the mats. Sonny has consistently demonstrated not only exceptional skill and growth, but also humility, respect, and a true passion for the art of Jiu-Jitsu.

From hard sparring rounds and long drilling sessions to mentoring newer teammates and showing up with a strong mindset— Sonny  has earned every stripe and every step on this journey.
